Leave
1. Part-time and Full-Time Hourly Representatives:
Employees immediately accrue vacation leave at the rate of 3/52 hours
of leave per hour worked. (This equates to approximately one (1) hour
of leave per eighteen (18) hours worked.) After 350 hours of
continuous employment, employees are eligible to use accrued leave.
The accrued leave is retroactive to the first day of employment.
2. Salaried Employees:
Employees immediately accrue vacation leave at the rate of fifteen (15)
days of leave per year pro-rated over each pay period.
The
maximum amount of vacation accrual is fifteen (15) days. When an
employee reaches that maximum amount, vacation leave will cease to
accrue. When the employee uses the leave, his or her accrual will
resume. At no time will an employee have more than fifteen (15) days
of vacation leave.
